I am an independent researcher and consultant with more than 25 years of working experience, with a background as industrial design engineer at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). My core expertise falls within sustainable textiles and fashion. During my career, I have been working as a consultant, academic coordinator, reviewer, business/product manager and as a (post-doctoral) researcher with numerous companies and institutes in interdisciplinary environments and have managed complex, commercial textile product development and manufacturing processes. My ambition is to support and accelerate the information transfer about the sustainability of fashion and textiles between the scientific community, designers, consumers, governments and business practice.
